Indelible

Indelible makes reference to the permanency of human experience and its indelible imprint on the psyche, and later manifest in memory. Narratives that exist within the mind have always intrigued me and I consider these works psychological landscapes that explore the concept of inner narratives and their existence within time and space. They investigate the idea of painting, as an act of mark making, both intentional and random, that cannot easily be removed, washed away, or erased; a commentary on human experience, each impression lasting, unforgettable and memorable.
